Branches

A branch is one of your locations. Each branch has its own business hours, staff roster and map pin. Your first branch is created for you, named after your company.

Who can see it: Owner and Admin manage branches. Some branch settings are Owner only, as noted below.

Add a branch

  1. Open Appointments → Booking setup and go to the Branches tab.
  2. Click Add branch.
  3. Enter the Name, Address, Phone and Timezone.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Set hours to set its business hours. Until you do, customers can't book at the branch.

Each branch needs a different name. On paid plans, the address is placed on the map automatically. If the pin is in the wrong place, use Fine-tune the map pin (coordinates).

How many branches you can have depends on your plan. See Plans & Free Trial.

Close or delete a branch

  • Untick Active (bookable) to close a branch. It's hidden from the Customer App and can't be booked. Existing appointments are kept.
  • If the branch still holds stock, choose whether to Move the stock to another branch or Write the stock off.
  • You can delete a branch from its menu. Existing appointments are kept.

Your company must always have at least one active branch.

When you have more than one branch

Once you have two active branches, these appear:

Switching branch

Each person has a working branch, shown at the top of the screen. It decides which branch their pages open on, such as the calendar, roster and stock, and where their new invoices and top-ups count. It never changes what they can see.

  • The Owner can switch to any branch.
  • Everyone else works at their primary branch. The Owner can let them switch to other branches on the Team page with Branches to switch to.
  • Someone with a primary branch who switches is back at their own branch the next day.

To switch, click the branch name at the top and choose a branch. On a phone, it's in your profile menu.

Primary branch

On the Team page, set each person's Primary branch: the store they belong to. See Team & Permissions.

Where records count

RecordCounts at
Invoice for appointmentsThe appointments' branch
Other invoices and quotationsThe branch the person creating it is working at
PaymentIts invoice's branch, whoever takes it
Top-upThe branch the person recording it is working at
RefundThe branch of the payment it reverses

The branch is shown on invoices and quotations. Nobody chooses it by hand.

Customers' home branch

Customers can have a Home branch for follow-up and filtering. Every branch still sees and serves every customer.

Branch isolation

Owner only. Turn it on from the Team page. Once on:

  • Staff with the All appointments permission can manage appointments (assign, confirm, reschedule, cancel) only at their own primary branch.
  • Staff can still start, complete or mark no-show any appointment assigned to them, at any branch.
  • The Owner and Admins can manage appointments at every branch.

Before you can turn it on, every staff member, every pending staff invitation and every upcoming appointment needs a branch. Kyglu CRM tells you what's missing.

Branch Report

People with the Reports & activity permission get a Branch Report under Reports. It shows each branch's sales and the money each branch took in. See Branch Report.
