Top-up Receipts
When a customer tops up their wallet (stored value), Kyglu CRM creates a top-up receipt. The Top-up Receipts page lists every top-up across all your customers.
Who can see it: Everyone. Correcting a top-up needs the Owner or an Admin.
Open it from Documents → Top-up Receipts in the menu.
Record a top-up
Top-ups are recorded from the customer's wallet, not from this page:
- Open the customer and click Top Up on their wallet.
- Choose a top-up package, a Plain top-up (no bonus) or Custom. Only the Owner and Admins can enter a custom bonus.
- Choose the Payment method. To split the payment, click Split into multiple payments?. The payments must add up to the top-up amount.
- Choose the Salesperson who earns commission for it.
- Click Confirm top-up.
The receipt is created automatically. See Stored Value for wallets, bonuses and top-up packages.
The receipt
Open a top-up to see its receipt. It shows:
- Principal: what the customer paid. It can be refunded and never expires.
- Bonus: what your store added. Bonus can't be withdrawn as cash, and may have an expiry date.
- the payments, the balance before and after, and who processed it
From the receipt you can Download PDF, copy the Public link, or Send via WhatsApp. You set how the receipt looks in Company Settings.
Correct a top-up
If a top-up was recorded wrongly, the Owner or an Admin can fix it:
- Open the receipt and click Correct this top-up.
- Enter the Corrected principal, Corrected bonus and, if needed, Corrected promotional points. These are the right totals, not the difference.
- Choose the Refund handling:
- Record only (no cash moved): fixes the figures only
- Offline refund (cash given back): also records money returned to the customer. Only the principal can be refunded, never the bonus.
- Enter a Reason and click Save correction.
The original top-up stays on record, with the correction listed after it. The reason is for your team only. Customers see a general "Correction" entry in their wallet history.
The top-up list
The cards show the number of top-ups and the total collected, all time and this month. Search by receipt number or customer, or filter by customer and date.
